Placement Testing

Progressive departments understand the rigors of committing to an undercover assignment, Special weapons and tactics team, and/or leadership position within the department.  Advancement to these often coveted positions requires the KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) required by departmental policy and management.  In addition to these documented KSA’s, departments also recognize the need to assess the characterlogical and personalogical components needed to both survive and thrive in these high stress positions.

Greenberg & Associates has several modifiable batteries of tests for such purposes.  Understanding the individuality of each agency as well as each department within the agency, G&A typically performs an assessment of the position before performing assessments on those applying for the position.

Test batteries are often similar in size and scope to the prehire tests, though background information is often asked of the department as an adjunct to the testing and interview process itself.
